NOTICE
Re: Entry and Mobile Phone Badge charges – effective from 9th February 2020.
The Committee of the Club has decided to revise the Entry and Mobile Phone Badge charges for Members and Non-Members entering the Members’ Enclosure at the Mumbai/Pune Race Courses on Mumbai/Pune Race Days (which includes a Member entering Pune Race Course on a Mumbai Race day and vice versa) as under. These charges would come into effect from 9th February 2020: –

NOTE:
The rates applicable for on-course race days will be applicable at both the Mumbai and Pune Race Courses which means on Mumbai Race Days the on course rates will be applicable at the Pune Race Course as well and vice versa.
The above mentioned charges will be applicable at the Club House, Mumbai where the racing is shown.
GENERAL PROVISIONS:-
- Unauthorised use/ possession of mobile phones in Club’s premises, other than bookmakers ring: The condonation fee for unauthorized use of mobile phones for the first time will be Rs.5,000/- and for the second time will be Rs.7,500/-. If any person is found to be in unauthorized possession of mobile phone for the third time, and if he is a non-member, his phone will be confiscated and he will be excluded from the premises of the Club for five years and if such person concerned is a Member of this Club, his mobile phone will be confiscated and thereafter the matter would be referred to the Committee to consider suspension of membership of such Member for a period of a minimum of three months.
- Unauthorised use/ possession of mobile phone in Bookmakers ring: If any person, being a non-member, is found to be using mobile phone within the bookmakers ring without the badge of Rs.3,500/- in Mumbai or Rs.7,000/ in Pune, as provided herein above, the mobile phone of such person shall be confiscated and in addition, such person will be liable for action by the Stewards of the Club and which action shall include fine and I or exclusion from the Club’s premises up to a period of three years. If the person concerned is a Member of the Club, his mobile phone will be confiscated and he shall also be liable to action by the Stewards/ Committee of the Club, as the case may be and which action shall include fine/ suspension of Membership/ exclusion of such Member from the premises of the Club.
- The aforesaid powers of the Stewards to punish/ fine/ suspend/ exclude etc., any person for unauthorized use / possession of mobile phone on the premises of the Club shall in no manner restrict the Stewards / Committee (as the case may be) from taking any other action against such person under the other powers vested in them under the Rules of Racing / Articles of Association I Notifications etc. of the Club.
- This Notice, (including the amount of charges payable as provided herein) are subject to amendment at any time and from time to time by the Committee of the Club at their sole and absolute discretion.
