WATCHMYSCRIPT WROTE HER OWN STORY IN THE THREPTIN FILLIES AND MARES STAKES, GR.3

Six fillies, four local and two outstation challengers, lined up for this Graded event with both the outstation challengers coming in for the betting for favouritism. Lady In Lace was the overwhelming favourite at 6/4 whilst the Irfan Ghatala-trained Watchmyscript (Whatsthescript-Yas Marina) who has raced at five different centres with success at Bangalore, Chennai and Mysore, was next in demand at 9/2 along with Auburn.
Zanara ran in her customary front running role from Winter Renaissance in second followed by Auburn, Lady In Lace, Watchmyscript with Turning Point taking up the rear. Till the 5f marker there was no change in the order of running. When the field turned for home, Zanara led the field into the home straight hotly chased by Auburn, with Lady in Lace and Whatsmyscript making their runs on the outside. Within a matter of strides, jockey A Sandesh astride Watchmyscript took over the running and put the race to bed, leaving the other outstation challenger Lady In Lace in second with Auburn in third. In the aftermath of the race, an objection raised by the connections of Auburn against Lady In Lace was overruled and the order remained the same.

This was the first Group race success for the bay filly Watchmyscript. The property of Mr Marthand Singh Mahindra, Mr Nitin Kumar Adiga, Mr Irfan Ghatala & Mr G Surendranath has now won seven of her nineteen starts with career earnings of ₹68,46,040.
