Sir Cecil cruises to a record breaking victory in the Mysore Derby, Gr.1
“This is the best horse I have ever trained,” said trainer S Padmanabhan after his champion Sir Cecil (Win Legend-Elusive Trust) cruised to victory in the Mysore Derby, Gr.1, extending his unbeaten record to seven, creating a new track record as well, stopping the clock at 1:59.05secs. He has won three Group I races, one Group 2 and two Group 3 races, which includes two Derbies. He has won his seven races by a total of over 57 lengths. He is unstoppable. And he is still in cruise mode. He does not have a worthy opponent who is capable of making him step on the pedal. He races gracefully and doesn’t need assistance on pace nor is he perturbed when he races merrily on his own. He is a gifted horse. A great horse.
