HUNT FOR GOLD SPARKLES IN THE EBCO WORKSMART BREEDERS’ PRODUCE STAKES, GR.3

Unbeaten in two starts, both over 7f, Hunt For Gold (Leitit Mor-Pleasure Hunt) looks set for the ultimate match of juveniles later this month. Silent Guardian was followed by Royal Crystal, Malwa and Hunt For Gold behind the front pair, Trouvaille and Kariega were being held hard into position while Mishka’s Pride, Speed Air and Capone brought up the rear. Royal Crystal took up the running with Hunt For Gold in close call, Silent Guardian crept up behind while Malwa was pushed to keep with the pace. Into the straight Royal Crystal was set alight while Hunt For Gold was yet to get off cruise control. Trouvaille made a move alongside Silent Guardian and Malwa. Hunt For Gold was set into action and the response was such that he went with ease into a two length lead. Without much effort he maintained the lead to win by 1¾ length from Trouvaille who was finally switched on the outside to make a challenge followed by Malwa and Mishka’s Pride.
